I decided to improve on this older Excitebike 3D render. This updated version is in widescreen format, properly recolored, and from a different vantage.

I also added a few objects to this that are left out of the first render. The camera man, the 'thumbs up' sideline guy, and the rows of sandbags are now included; I may go back and add them to the original, if I get more time. The crowd is not just a 2D backdrop any longer, but now made up of actual staggered cubes, to keep everything in the render fully 3D modeled.

I hope everyone enjoys the changes that I made, and sees them as improvements; my aim is to be as true to the original NES game as possible. Thanks for looking. I think I'll finally be posting that Mario 3, level 1-1, render in a few days. Then, some Space Invaders wallpapers.

and they now look even more like lego bikes. Lol. Good work on this one. I think this what the replays would look like if this game were remade on newer systems but it would be hard to play the game this way.

Fun fact: The Internet is a tool and valuable resource not just a place to find entertainment or argue endlessly with people you'll never meet about things that don't really matter.
