3D Zelda

*Update (Oct. 1, 2014)*  I've improved several aspects of this render.

3D voxel modeled recreation of the first dungeon boss battle with Aquamentus, from the 8-bit Nintendo classic The Legend of Zelda. I hope to find time to make other boss fight scenes from this NES game - Dodongo, Gleeok, Manhandla, Digdogger, and Gohma. To be honest, replaying Earthbound for the first time in ages has been responsible for taking up all my recent free time.

This render is quite different from my previous attempts at Zelda 3D dungeon scenes. I might still tweak a few things with this, but I think I like this approach better. I'm working on another version of this render, where the lights located on the walls give off illumination. Feedback regarding which version you prefer will be greatly appreciated, so I know which one to move into my scraps section. Thank you to all viewers, commenters, and watchers!
